Editorial Submissions

Thank you for your interest in Balance Magazine® and requesting information on how to submit editorial material.

Email all submissions to: publisher@balancemagazine.com

Guidelines:

  1. Word count should be 500-700 for a full page; 950-1150 for a page and ½; or 1100-1450 for a 2 page spread.  This word count may include a side bar.
  2. Articles must be original work providing tips, tools, strategies or a call to action reflecting balanced living and personal growth for women.
  3. Tell us what section of the magazine the article should be considered for (i.e.; health, wealth or happiness).
  4. Written in AP (Associated Press) style preferred.
  5. Must be sent as an attachment – MS Word format or compatible.
  6. Must send a 15 word biography including a website or email address.
  7. We reserve the right to edit all submissions.
  8. Please be sure your address is included with your submission or that of representing PR firm.
  9. As of this time, authors are not being compensated for their articles other than to receive a byline.
  10. The Work-Life Balance Institute For Women, Inc. and Balance Magazine retain all copyrights on material submitted and published.  The material may not be published without specific permission from The Work-Life Balance Institute For Women, Inc. or Balance Magazine.

Winter Issue:
